itunes: trouble with gift card

I had purchased a $15 gift card and redeemed it on the main page. When i went to buy a game i entered the number and it told me "this card has already been redeemed" i have no idea how to get the game

You should contact Apple - I think there are support links on the iTunes Store pages in iTunes.
