Problems with new email updates...

I got the email yesterday about signing up for email notification of recent activity on the forums, and thought it would be a real help to me. The problem is, however, that I selected multiple forums, then selected one time to get the email. Well now I've gotten the emails three times in less than twenty-four hours.

The email I get is headed up by a sentence that reads:

"Your MACOSX.COM Email Edition covers new and active topics in the last 9 hours."

So what am I doing wrong? Shouldn't the process I outlined above yield one email a day???

So what's the best way to keep up-to-date on what's happening here (or at the main site) without having to visit every day? Ideally I'd like to find some way to get caught up once a week...
