Software Update - what to do with updates I don't want?

Software Update says it wants to install the Airport update. I don't have an Airport card or an Airport basestation. I don't want to install the update. How do I get Software Update to stop listing the Airport update every time it runs?

Theoretically, in the Software Update app., under the 'Update' menu there is a 'Make Inactive' option you can use on a selected item to hide it.

I have heard it is not 100% reliable.

It works as advertised. You can even set the app to show inactive items as ghosted entries so that you know what you're missing. :D
