I have successfully set up Sendmail to run instead of OSX AppleShare Mail Server, but have noticed a couple of error messages in my mail log:
SYSERR(root): hash map "Alias0": missing map file /etc/mail/aliases.db: No such file or directory
and
sendmail[766]: NOQUEUE: localhost [127.0.0.1] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
The first is apparently looking for an alias database. If so. How do I go about building one?
The other error, I don't understand. Could any kind soul shed some light on my problems?
