Are there any Newton MessagePad owners out there?? I run a MP2000!! Although I love mine (will til death do us part) I'm in favor of a new PDA from Apple! Something running OSX would be nice! What are you favorite Newton Sites?

The United Network of Newton Archives (http://www.unna.org/) is a great collection, where you can find such stuff as VNC for Newton, webservers for Newton, and even an alpha driver for a WaveLAN 802.11b card.

If there is an ssh client for the Newt please let us know!

(PS - I own 4 of them - 2 100's and 2 2000's).

Craig, Thanks for the recommendation on UNNA! Nice software site!

I'm trying to figure out how, or what software I need to get my MP2000 online with my cable modem service? I'm trying to go through my serial cable connection to my desktop G3. I've tried several diffrent skeams in the Internet Setup & Owner Info App's. Any suggestions?

I bought ethernet cards (Farallon) for mine. I don't think you'll get too far with the serial approach. I think the Apple IP stack only worked on ethernet or PPP (dialup).

I didn't think it would work but I gave it a shot! "A" for Effort? There's a learning curve here!! Where can I find Drivers if I buy a ethernet card??

Well, the only supported card I know of is the Farallon EtherMac PCMCIA card. If you can find one I have the Newton drivers for it. I'm not parting with mine!! :D
