i got a new iPod!!!

heya all,

ive joined with the pod people ;)

i today ordered (with some other toys) a 30 GB iPod.

my buddy of mike went to chicago over the weekend and got an iPod too. he showed it to me today - he has had it for 2 days - and the screen has some scratches, the plastic has some scratches, and it is scuffed up.

i payed $500 (well minus edu discount) for this thing and i want to protect it!

so what is a good case for this thing? is the one apple provides any good? the products from Speck Products look good, the FiipStand and the iSkin look nice.

so any ideas/opinions on cases?

got an iSight. got a 15" TiBook. got a HP DeskJet 6127. got FCP 4 (upgrade). :D :D

I have a glow-in-the-dark iSkin protecting mine. Works just fine.

I saw the newest iPod (the docking ones) at a VW dealer last night to look at Passats (they are there because of the deal with Beetle) and they are pretty nice.

yea i played with them at the apple store. i ordered a glow in the dark iSKin. they look nice.

there was an article today on maccentral about the drop in educational pricing, and yea, its nice. the drop in price let me get this sweet ipod!
