iTunes autoselects iPod on startup

When I'm not travelling, i like to keep my iPod attached to my computer so I know it'll be charged when i need it. However, if I start up iTunes to play some music, iTunes autoselects the iPod library and plays from that.

Does anyone know a way to make iTunes select the main library by default at startup?
