Over 1,000,000 downloads!!
Which means 1,000,000 computers with OS X! A few downloaded more than once, no doubt, but there are also many who bought a Mac with iPhoto already installed and no doubt some who are using X who didn't download it.
--------------
I've enjoyed iPhoto and have used it primarily to organize photos. I set it up to use Graphic Converter to edit images, and that's worked well.
What I don't like is how it downloads all the images on my digital camera left on the memory card into its library every time, and that I can't choose the ones I want to download, as in Image Capture. So I use Image Capture to download them, import them into iPhoto to organize them, then editi them in Graphic Converter. Not quite the all-in-one Apple had in mind, but hey, it's free! And if I ever want to make and publish an online slideshow, or a book, I'm all set. :D
