Trouble with local LDAP server (exchange

I work at a fairly small company that uses an Exchange server for e-mail.

From 10.0 to 10.0.4, I could ususally get LDAP lookups from this server in Apple's Mail.app

Now, as of 10.1 and thru 10.1.2, even though the same info is entered in both the Mail.app prefs and Directory Setup, no lookups return matches on the internal LDAP server( external lookups to bigfoot still work)

Anybody have any idea what to try to get these lookups to work? I hate having to go to my windows machine (hidden in a closet :') to get a coworkers email

im having the same problem.

ive found out that the mail.app ldap search looks for:
givenname contains, sn contains and mail contains. i have all these attributes in my ldap server (2.0.21 on freebsd 4.4) and it still wont find anything.
