I'm looking into replacing our WebStar server with OS X Server. I have a question for those of you already using it:
What services does the 10-User License 10 user limit apply to? And specifically, does it apply to email accounts? Has anyone hit this limit and know what happens? Apple's website seems a little squirrelly about describing their email capabilities.
That's more than one question isn't it? Mnay thanks in advance.

My understanding is that the 10 user limit applies only to File and Print services. Mail should not be a problem.
I'm setting one of these up on Thursday so I should have more complete knowledge after that.

gentlemen,
isn't there some sort of transaction limit in OS X Server?
i kinda, sorta remember shivering over that notion a couple of years ago. apple prolly adjusted that policy to be more in line with reality, but if you know anything, be sure to share that, too.

Cool! Please let me know how it goes! That 10 person limit could mean the difference in whether we're able to fit it into our budget.
Darwin fits, of course, but the time to learn Sendmail on the CLI is a bit intimidating.

Hmmm. So does that mean 10 simultaneous file sharing connections, or 10 client with accounts to share files? And does that only apply to Mac clients? Surely they wouldn't be allowed to limit how many people share files through samba? Same for any of the unix-y services (ftp, ssh, and so on...) that are basically OSS deamons. Or does the 10-client license apply only to a situation where the clients are actually booting off disk images on the server? That I could see far more easily...
