Can it really play VCDs though?

I heard the CD-runtime on X doesn't allow for it to be done.

But I don't know though.

Tried using a homemade SVCD one.. Never worked.

Any suggestions?

I have used it to play a VCS .dat binary file on an ISO 9660 format cd.

No problems.
