I have dabbled in Applescript for several years now - definitely no expert though. With the advent of AppleScript Studio (ASS) and OS X I would really like to learn a lot more. Specifically about using ASS and also interactions between Applescript to/from Terminal/Perl, etc. I have managed to absorb a small amount of knowledge from various snippets around these days but I can not seem to find a good OS X specific Applescript source for learning/tutorials. etc. Does anyone have any suggested sources of good info - preferably fairly exhaustive?
thx

Well, you can check out the Apple site (http://www.apple.com/applescript/begin/pgs/begin_00.html) , or this (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/aplscptian/) O'Reilly site for AppleScript in a Nutshell. I don't know how in-depth the book goes, but there are a few articles about AppleScript in OS X linked to it at the bottom.

I would expect you might see a book or something by July or so. The OS X AppleScript Studio is still too new for much in the way of publications. You might want to see if MacTech has published anything.
Otherwise go through the included tutorial, and then start fooling around. That's often the best way to learn a new environment.
I'm going to move this to the OS X Developer forum. Just because I'd like to encourage some focus on AppleScript there.
