Advertising the Ads

For some reason, Rob's announcment about ads doesn't show as a recent thread for any forum on the forum index page. Anyone wondering about what's going on now with the ads ought to check that out at the top of a forum's thread listings.

I have absolutely no qualms with advertising banners. Afterall, you folks need to eat! What keeps me away from other sites is all the dancing baloney which I refuse to read and/or click. The ads you presently have are stationary and thereby have my attention. (and my eyes thank you as well)

I too have no problems with the ads.

I tried out one of the advertisers last night. Clicked on the link just to support MacOSXHints and ended up buying a processor upgrade! I'd been looking for an inexpensave dual processor card for my G4/400 for over a year. I'll report in the Xperiences section when I receive and install the upgrade.
