I've been looking for an inexpensive USB card for a wallstreet and found this:
http://www.meritline.com/usb2-pcmcia-adapter-card-4-port.html

But the supplier is vague, to say the least, about drivers. I know it won't do 2.0, and might need external power, but I'm worried about will it work at all...

Does anyone recognize the card and know?

I had a different brand once for my Windows Laptop, so I shoved it in my Pizmo Powerbook to check it out. It worked with no drivers, however, I did not have any USB 2.0 devices to see if it was working as 2.0, but I imagine it probably was. Anyway, I had to take it back because it didn't work with the Windows laptop.

Siig's outlet web store sells a similar PC card USB adaptor, and provides drivers, both OS9 and OSX, the OSX is Panther compatible.

If the Wallstreet has Cardbus PCMCIA specs, it will run USB2.0 in Panther.

You will need the accessory AC adaptor if the USB devices need to be powered from the bus.

I can't vouch for (or criticize) it yet, but Other World Computing is offering a combo card that does USB 2 (backwards compat with 1.x) and FireWire 400. I'm gonna snag one for my own WallStreet very very soon unless someone says "Don't do that, they suck for this and this and this reason..."
