Hmm, mine are all quite boring since two Finder windows, two DragThing docks, the real dock and iTunes cover nearly all the available space ;-).

Apple has a user desktop gallery (http://www.info.apple.com/usen/macosx/gallery/macosxgallery.html) that has some pretty cool pictures in it.

This (http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~brandg/desktop.jpg) is my desktop. Nothing terribly exciting, I have Transmit running in the bottom left behind the finder window, an xterm window above that that I have ssh'd into my schools servers, my regular terminal above that, partially transparent, running dnetc. Mozilla is running, but windowshaded out of the way, I have the mail check applet running in the upper right (the little black box) to tell me when I have mail, Fire is running with a transparent buddy list on the top right.

Could you please share with the rest of us how you did this? I guess there is some Applescript involved to get the screenshot. I think this was a very cool thing to do.

This is pure fink oroborus2, control-center, and The Gimp with an old Amiga DP very similar to my present setup (Gnome menus are now closer to OS X menus).

I was using screen dump, but it won't work with my new web server. So, now I'm using Oculus (shareware).

It's called AlumiteX, you can get it with Themer.

I believe the website is at http://www.stretch.tc/aquaworld/themes/themes.html, but as of right now, it seems to be down. If it doesn't come up soon, I can throw up the resources file on the web, if you'd like.
