I've had some weird crash today and the server behaved even weirder after that.
Apache wouldn't launch - somehow the httpd_macosxserver.conf file disappeared. I recreated the file from the .bak version and rebooted - the file was gone again!
Somehow the ServerAdmin daemon deletes the file - and the ServerAdmin application doesn't display the Web-Server Plug-In anymore. (The Plug-In is there, in /System/Library/ServerAdmin/, called Apache.rasplug).
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Where is Apache launched normally? I've now created a StartupItem for it and have Webperfcache launched by Watchdog...
Since the ServerAdmin daemon always deleted the config file I've modified the httpd.conf file to include the httpd_macosxserver.conf.bak file instead...
I've also reinstalled the latest 10.1.3ServerUpdate - no change...
Any help / ideas really appreciated!
