An anonymous (for obvious reasons, as you'll see) reader submitted the following hint to the hint queue on the main macosxhints site. After reviewing it, I've decided that it's not really a hint, but it is quite humorous, so I thought I'd post it here. Here it is in its "as submitted" form:

If you set the Screen Saver Prefs Panel to "Random" and then forget and download a bunch of dirty pictures into your "Pictures" folder, every once in a while "Slide Show" runs, usually when your boss wants to borrow your computer.

Don't try to open Netscape Communicator 4.7.5 in classic layer. It was my first and only Kernel panic -- required a complete zeroing of the disk and reinstall of X .

(yes, I know there is netscape for X, but I'm a web developer and need to test my sites in all browsers people typically use...)

I used navigator for a long time, until AOL took it over, then, I canned it.

its bloatware.

but, thats another post. ;)
