Having trouble with the Linksys router in front of my mac OSX Server. Both can run DHCP.
I like the firewall in front but how do i configure it to work? I have a OSX SERVER w/ an internal network-card and a second slot3 network-card. I want to have the OSX Server as a web server and the linksys is to connect the other office computers to the internet. What tcp/ip settings do i set into the linksys to make it still able to serve web pages from the OSX SERVER and at the same time allow for the other compters to access the internet.

I guess you've the dchp running on it fine, probably dynamic default setup? well all you have to do is goto forward (http://192.168.1.1/Forward.htm) and setup ports 8080 to 8080 and 80to80 to forward to your IP, which you should set in sys-prefs>network>ethernet set the prefs as such:

conf: manually

IP: 192.168.1.XXX this should be outside your allowed port range, ie if you have 4 users and their ip's go from xx.xxx.x.101 - 104 then make your ip 192.168.1.110

subnet: 255.255.255.0

router: 192.1.68.1.1

DNServers: 192.168.1.1

job done.

now go to sharing pref and turn on websharing, this will allow access to your sites folder.
