Feeling a little jaded...

I've been a long time PC user who just recently ordered a new dual Ghz G4 and since have been spending way to much time at macrumors and the like hearing about the eminent release of the G5 and DDR ram. My PPC hasn't even arrived yet and I'm drooling over something that won't show its head for at least a little while.... The sad thing is, the way the rumor sites portray it, it will be at least twice as fast as my not even here yet G4... Similar to that feeling when you've been waiting a long time for a certain make of auto than you buy it only to realize afterwards that the new models availible in a month are twice as good. I'm trying to see light at the end of this tunnel but, damn it seems so dark... IF I'D ONLY WAITED......

you're getting a pretty sweet machine; the architecture has been around the block and is stable.

as for the G5 era, who knows how troublesome it could be and do you want to be a guinea pig?

as for waiting, with that approach, you could wait too long and...

with a change of perspective, your regrets should diminish.

oh, and stop reading those sites.
