I've decided that I'm going to go classic-less on my computer, but I still need to have a valid system folder lying around so that I can install applications that have OS X patches available (e.g., I had to install Diablo II in classic then install the patch). Well, to do that, I copied the system folder from my ibook to my ipod. I can boot classic (or OS 9, if I choose to), but only after running the bless command in the terminal. For some reason, my system folder keeps losing its blessing (and it's not sleeping around or anything ;)). Anyone have any suggestions for keeping it in my computer's good graces? TIA.
