I am trying to get a Compaq TFT8030 LCD (1280x1024@85mhz) monitor to work on my G4-467mhz with the stock ATI Rage128Pro graphics card and OS X10.3.3 on the digital output vs the VGA output without any success. The VGA works perfectly. I've tried 2 different ADC to DVI adapters and 2 different DVI cables; tried OS 9.2.2; and in all cases the monitor doesn't even flicker. I've tried various screen resolutions and frequencies. Compaq is no help (they never tested the monitor on Apple computers). Is there any way to test the DVI output from the card? Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks for any hints...
