All of a sudden the old system wasn't bootable any more; I wanted to install a new larger and faster disk for the MacOS X Server anyway. But how do I transfer ALL server settings (user, groups, mail setup, ip-filter, dhcp, smb, netinfo, etc.) from the old disk, which I can mount but not boot from, to the new disk without manually setting it up all again with Server Admin.app, Netinfo Manager.app, Preferences.app? Does anybody know where these settings and configuration files are stored in the system as preference files, XML files or something like this (e.g. in /etc for Solaris operating system)?
As mentioned before the old disk isn't bootable anymore, therefore, I cannot start any application and export or look at the previous settings.
Any hints or urls to solutions are much appreciated.
Regards,
Marc
