I recently replaced the battery on my first generation 5GB iPod. I'm thrilled that I now get 11 hours of play time.
But, if left alone (not played at all), the iPod loses it's full battery charge in less then a week. The battery totally discharges and the iPod ends up doing a soft reset: eg. date, time and some settings are lost.
Any ideas what could cause this rapid battery drain or what I might do about it?
