Hello!

Only found four messages on site re: voice recording. Two are about iPod as voice recorder.

Does anyone know whether Apple is weighing whether to integrate voice input into iPod or develop a ~vPod?

iTalk and Belkin have too many problems currently which in our view might be solved via system integration.

Also, on MAC OS X what is best way to convert any voice digital files to text? (e.g., .txt, .html, .doc, etc.)

Thanks for any comments,

Doug.

I really don't know if Apple is going to integrate voice recording (my guess is negative).

For converting documents to "voice digital files", take a look here:
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/17446

(I suggest you have a Mac)
And I don't know if there are any similar apps on Windows.

Cheers,
Jasper.

The iPod already has voice input capability built-in (Not the mini-iPod). The hardware to do it isn't there though. There are 3rd party devices available to exploit this ability. IE: iTalk (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/italk/) from Griffin Technology.
