Hey, I've heard and seen of people putting linux on their ipod...how would I go about doing this? I have a 20GB original ipod (not mini).

yeah got it running on my ipod 1st gen 5 gb and it's excellent..

I've put it on it because apple didn't update the system anymore what I thought was pretty shitty of them.
The linux on ipod project has a lot more to offer for my Ipod (maybe not the newer generations though) and hopefully will have more options in future updates (like IPoF and linking ipods together to share stuff!) =)

laterz!!

Indeed, no reason to swear; we try to keep the forums a pleasant place to be, and not everyone likes to read cuss words when they think they'll be reading about linux on the iPod :).

Ironically, this particular hole in the censor list was opened when I modified it so that we could say things like Matsushita without getting censored :). The hole is now plugged...
