Hi friends:
My problem with Classic after the 10.1.4 upgrade is terrific. I have a G4 with Spanish located OS X, and the system 9 folder crashes entirely everyday. Then, I canīt run any classic application nor restart in OS 9 mode. I must reinstall the whole OS 9 again. Can be this behavior caused by a virus? Is Apple discouraging us against Classic applications?
Help, please.
Interesting fact:
When system 9 crashes, the startup disk panel in OS X don't recognize the classic system version (only shows a useless generic folder) but the same panel in a OS 9 system booted with a CD-ROM shows an incredible -and useless too- 9.1.2 (yes, 9.1.2 !!) system in the hard disk.
Configuration:
PowerMac G4 at 466 MHz
MacOS X 10.1.4
MacOS 9.2.2
Jaime.
