Hi,

I have only had my iPod for a couple weeks so I haven't gotten used to everything on it yet. Perhaps somebody can explain why sometimes when I go to use my ipod it will seem to start up and show the Apple logo, when it does this certain settings are reset, specifically the clicker, and I have go and turn it off again. Why is this? How do I prevent it from happening?

If the iPod has been off for 24 or 36 hours (can't remember which), it automatically goes into "deep sleep" mode, which requires a reboot of the iPod when it is finally turned back on.

As for the clicker, it gets reset to 'on' for some reason, i'm not sure why but mine does it too. Possibly that setting is stored in the ram and lost when the iPod goes into deep sleep?

This seems to be just the way things are.
