I want to avoid making playlists twice. My iPod and my G5 have the exact same songs on them. I want to copy a playlist I made on my G5 to my iPod. I want to do this however without adding duplicate songs to my iPod which I accidently did once. Is there something I'm missing here as far as how to go about this?

Thanks!

Update to iTnes 4.7 and choose Edit->Show Duplicate Songs.

No thats not it...I want to take a playlist I have in my library and put it on my iPod. Is there a quick way to doing this with out having to toatlly re-create the playlist.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. Your G5 and iPod have the same songs on them, which is maintained when you sync. If you want a playlist on the iPod, you create it on the G5 and sync it. If the songs are already in your library and you add them to a playlist, the iPod will not make duplicates of the songs. A playlist is simply a list of songs in your library. When the playlist is sync'd to the iPod, it remains a list of songs in your library (those on the iPod).

If you could rephrase the question a little, I might be of more help.
