hi,
don't know much about ipods but would really like to purchase one as i've heard great things about them. my problem is i have an imac 8.6. was told ipod runs on windows 2000 (with service pack 4) or mac 0S x v10.1.5 or later. i was told i can't upgrade my system to mac 0S so my only alternative is windows 2000. my question is, if anyone out there can answer is would my system be able to handle installing windows 2000??? i have 128MB of built in RAM. processor info-power pc=G3,machine speed=333mhz
thanks!

No - you can't run any version of Microsoft Windows on a Macintosh. Windows is only for machines that use the Intel (or compatible) processors.
Apple machines will only run Mac OS (old) or Mac OS X.

You might be successful in running OS X on your machine if you added some RAM to it - to bring it to a minimum of 256 MB.
