Thread names not shown

I can only visit these forums with a Windows machine with IE. On my Mac at home (also using IE), PMac 733MHZ, 512 MB, OS X 10.1.4, no thread names are shown. Sometimes I can see "Poll:" but nothing behind that. All other thread names are empty.

What's wrong?

Hmmm...

I'm viewing this in IE 5.1.4, OS X 10.1.4 right now and it appears OK.

You might try logging out and back in, and maybe clearing cookies from this site. And if you have prefs that override default colors or styles, try setting them back.

Anyone else seeing this?

Disable Norton Personal Firewall. I have no idea why, but it blocks the topic names from being displayed.

I've been playing with BrickHouse at work for a week or so. It seems pretty decent, though it's interface could use a bit of work here and there. The real question I guess I have, though, is what NPF uses for a firewall. BH uses ipfw, since it's built into OS X, but what does NPF use?

So that might explain why I'm also not seeing the thread names using Netscape 6.
