Xbox Live Setup

I am looking into buying XBOX live. I have a two story house and my Powerbook is downstairs connected to my Airport. My xbox is upstairs in our room. What is the best way that i coulcd connect the xbox to my mac? And any specific products would be nice. thanks

There have been a lot of posts about using XBox Live with an ABS. Check the Apple Discussion forums under whatever version of the ABS you have. The net of it is that XBox Live doesn't work very well with an ABS.

What I ended up doing was putting in a Linksys router (BEFRS41) attached to my DSL modem and connecting my ABS to that as a wireless bridge. In order to connect the XBox, I used Netgear Powerline adapters. (http://www.netgear.com/products/details/XE102.php)

There are several ways to connect up the XBox but using an ABS doesn't seem to be a good one.

Im not sure how your wireless connection would hold up for gaming either. I know in my case the signal wasnt very strong trying to go through many walls and insulation. I ended up just hardwiring it, which may be a pain setting it up, but the connection is worth it.
