the last time a poll like this appeared over there there were more choices, namely BeOS and all of us die-hard Be fans were smacked down by voting bots whose IP addresses originated in Redmond, WA - so don't take this too seriously - MS will always take it more that anyone would ever think...

that poll was taken offline when it was discovered what was happening... so much for informal and unscientific...

It's a virtual tie, now. Not your everyday average user voting for Linux, that's for sure.

ahhahahahah good work chaps!!

I went to bed depressed (i'm in the UK) to see the XP lead and woke up to check our doom and saw us way out in front!!

Fantastic teamwork!

Don't feel guilty, I was watching the voting minute by minute and saw the XP votes piling up at an unreasonable rate so those XP losers were on a similar mission to our own I feel...

BRING ON THE NEXT VOTE! ;)
