I'm a litle out of line in responding here as I'm not a Verizon DSL customer but,
I'm not sure you need the "Verzion DSL" software in order to use your Verizon DSL circuit with an OS X Mac, as PPPoE support is built directly into OS X. You would just need to configure your Network System Preferences setting correctly to connect via PPPoE. This should give you internet access on both the OS X and the Classic side as Network traffic is automatically piped through to the Classic side from the OS X network.
Apologies if I have misunderstood your question.

I use Bellsouth DSL service and just as Rusty said, there is no additional software needed with OS X. Just go to System Preferences, select Network, Show: Built In Ethernet (not Internal Modem), select the PPPoE tab, and fill in and check the appropriate info. Works like a charm for my DSL connection.
and mmh334 and Rusty are right.
For Account Name, I have my full account name, including the @verizon.net. I'm not sure this is necessary, but it works for me.

Verizon has NO idea about this. I'll pass this info along to my friend who uses it (check out his website - www.3rdedge.com), thanks so much!
Yeah, unfortunately, Verizon does not support Mac OS X, so if you ever have a problem with it, you probably won't be able to rely on them to help you fix it.

Mac OS X made it so easy, it was all straight forward - just as noted above. The folks at Verizon probably don't realize how easy it is to hook-up, probably stuck with Windoze boxes.. :p
