PackageMaker.app and Group Permissions

When using PackageMaker.app it's possible to set permissions for a files owner. Group permissions, however, default to the permissions of the installed location.

Does anyone know how to get PackageMaker.app to respect group permissions?

there's the user mask and overwrite permissions [] checkboxes ; the documentation is weak, but i suppose those don't support your endeavor?

couldn't ownership and perms be wrangled in the post_install scriptage?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately groups permissions are not held by PackageMaker. It seems I'll have to find another installer maker or learn some scripting. Sounds like it's time to dig up Larry Prall's scripts.
