Word of advice: don't do a 'Check for Updates' right now. Just go download it.

A new feature seems to be having the bookmark list available by contextual menu in the dock.

Is that new?

........I can't access my online banking with this new version, Mozilla, Netscape, iCab or Opera. I want an alternative to Explorer which I just hate hate hate hate hate hate hate ........agagagagahhgah.

Could you access your bank via earlier versions of OmniWeb? If so, did your masquerading preference get reset? That is, the preference where OmniWeb tells the web server it's really something like IE 5.5 for Windows.

A lot of sites use that simple check, and work just fine if OW says it can work. Other sites, like my credit card online access, aren't fooled by that setting. So to see my statement I have to use IE. Blech.

I don't see the bookmarks via contextual menu in the Dock, and I never have. Of course, I don't use OW's built in bookmarks, I have an HTML page with my bookmarks. The plus side of this is that I can load them up in any browser, no matter what the internal representation of bookmarks is. And since I work on WinNT, I transfer bookmarks between OmniWeb, the infrequent use of IE (both platforms), and Opera, portability is very useful.

I used each different type of masquerading protocol and had negative results. IE is the only way for now, with a crimson edged halo around my vision.

Is that new? This was part of the 4.1 beta. The dock icon will list sites which you have set to be notified that have changed, or if you have multiple windows open, it will list them by name.
