am just learning to use OS X server sooooo am sure there is simple solution, but i cant figure it out. when I add a user in server admin, and later delete it, it does go away in the list given in server admin, but when you open up the user folder, the user that was deleted in server admin is still there. How do you get rid of that user from the User folder?

btw, i did log in as the root user, since that user privleges was owner: system and group: unknown. and deleted that users folder, but then when i rebooted the server, it boots up....almost, and then hangs----blue screen. obviously i shouldnt have done that......soooooooooo how do you get rid of deleted user?

mmm... I've deleted my users accounts several times. And the situation where Users home remain in place after you delete their account is perfectly normal. You are indeed suppsed to go and delete the ~homes by hand.

I think the trouble you are experiencing with BlueScreen is unrelated to account managment. I suggest that you boot in verbose mode (hold Cmd-V down after startup chime untill you see white text running on black screen), and then watch closely the messages appearing on the screen, that might provide you with a hint about what went wrong, what may be the cause etc.

Good Luck
