Has anyone had any success hacking Canon print drivers?
Doing a string replace for printer ID strings doesn't work. I would be very surprised if each printer had a unique API, so there has to be something somewhere that will let me use my BJ F620 (aka BJC 6200 in Europe, Oceana, Asia). Doing the merry hunt on the Canon web pages around the world produced only this comment from Canon Australia's web site: MacOS X drivers to be determined later. (Dated April 2001).
