Hello, i have an IPOD of 40 Gb configured for Mac, i want to know if Can i use it like a hard disk in a PC with Windows system?

Do you know what can i do?

Well, generally, if you have a Mac-based iPod and you want to use it with Windows, you'll have to use the Windows iPod software installer and Restore the iPod (reformatting the iPod for use with Windows, and yes - you'll lose what's on the iPod.)

The other alternative is to find something for Windows that'll let you access HFS/+ formatted drives, but I believe they're all shareware/commercial, and probably not worth the trouble.

I use my Ipod on Mac and PC almost every day. All you have to do (as Makoto said), is format it on the PC, retstore the Ipod software on the PC, then it will work absolutely fine as a disk and with Itunes on the Mac and PC.
