When ever I plug in my iPod now, all I get is the Apple on the screen and all I hear is "whirrrr, click...whirrrr, click...." and then it shuts off.
Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a restore on it? Will it even mount on your computer? Can you see it through disk utility? If you can see it on your computer try doing a software restore and see if that helps.

Can't. Nope. Nope.
Getting an RMA from Apple as we speak.
Thanks
I had a bit of a similar thing after the battery ran out while copying files on a PC....
It refused to boot up properly after recharging the battery. I just held down 'Menu' and 'Play' for about 10 seconds to reboot the Ipod and it was fine after that.

I have tried all the posted reset/restore methods. Still nothing.
Oh well, my RMA box came today...going to send it back tomorrow...who knows, maybe they'll replace it with a 60G one!!
