Perhaps I missed this discussion elsewherre, but no matter. I'll ask here. Where's the Tetris for iPod game that was rumored to be coming with the most recent iPod update? I have a 30GB iPod Photo with the most recent update, and iTunes 4.9, with NO tetris. I'm guessing that it was all just a hoax. Thoughts?

I think this is what DKmafia was trying to say in his poorly worded post.
You can play a bunch of Linux games, among other things, if you install the OS onto your iPod. I haven't tried it as I use the iPod for, well, music but here is a how-to:

Enjoy.

i think it may have just been a fake. I'd suggest you'd try iPod Linux. I had it installed on my G4 for about a week. Fun to play with, but i'm gona wait a while longer to see what it holds :)

It is not a fake, many of my friends do it and its a well known open-source project. http://www.ipodlinux.org/Main_Page . Don't call something a fake before you even research it, when has Macworld posted a How-to on something that is faked. If you don't believe it then try it or continue doubting it but do us a favor and read the article check out the links to the developer page before you call it a fake.
Just because something is beyond your knowledge doesn't mean its not real.
Relax, slick, he wasn't calling iPodLinux fake, he was calling the Tetris-iPod-game hoax fake. We have all (well, most of us anyways) heard of iPodLinux. I just don't see the sense in turning my $330 mp3 player into a sub-par linux PC. Doesn't make sense.

Thats embarissing me telling him to read before he posts and me doing the exact opposite. My Apologies. It's late and I have been knocking back a few today.
Anyway, mad dad, I agree LinuxPod seems more like a novelty than a useful tool.
