Changing number of Lines in Notes of iPod Photo

So yeah the title kind of explains it all. But I was curious if anyone knew a way to change the maximum number of lines the iPod Photo holds in a single note file.
You see I thought it'd be cool to be able to read a book or something and listen to music while taking a break from work. So I turned a couple PDFs into txt files and loaded them into the NOTES folder on my iPod. But it only holds a couple pages and then... nothing. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this. Or am I stuck finding a way to organize everything it multiple notes, and such.

Any help on this would be awesome.

Maximum note size is 4kb per file. There are apps around that take text files and chop them into 4kb text files that link to each other. Search around on www.macupdate.com and www.versiontracker.com :)
