Jaguar and iBook (8M vRAM)

Is anybody out there running Jaguar on a iBook with 8MB od video RAM. How is it working? Is the upgrade worth?

Yes, even without quartz extreme support on those models, I would say that it will be worth it. Jag running on a 500Mhz 8MB VRAM iBook is definately faster than 10.1.5.

There is also the added bonus of true energy saving features (Different settings for power adapter, battery, etc).

Now, I am judging off of a non-final release, so the changes inherent in going from beta to final still apply. I doubt Apple would pull these features so late in the development cycle, but it's possible.
