The folks at unsanity amaze me.
The people who brought you Silk (http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/silk/) present the return of menu extras in Jag.

I don't have a jag build, but thought this might be useful in restoring missing functionality for those of you who do.

thanks, crabby. interesting note in the Menu Extra Enabler readme...

"...Apple decided they would screw developers by introducing a block that prevented (on purpose, mind you) third party developers from making Menu Extras. I would understand Apple's stance had they not made an iChat menu extra. Apple's own documentation clearly states that Menu Extras should only exist for hardware devices or network adjustments. iChat does neither! The Script Menu also violates Apple's own rules..."

does this mean that apple is going to try and break this in every update? possibly. time to kick some proverbial trash cans around...
