I think it's the time for patriotism, but I wouldn't bet too much on the Pats, so I'm saying they win by 1-6.

How about some kind of prize for those who get it right (and put their names on the thread, of course).

But what would the prizes be?

Hey, how about a free iMac, complements of Apple. Are you reading, Mr. Jobs?:D

38-17 Rams

It would be nice to see the Pats perform an upset, but I just don't think it'll happen.

I hope the Rams beat the Patriots.

I'm from New York, and even though I'm a Giants fan I'm still just a tad teed off over the way Bill Belichick treated a Jets organization that trusted him and needed him to step in after Parcells basically walked out on them. Al Groh was a disaster. Herm Edwards seems solid, but he was just one play away from having a typical Jets season of 0 for December.

Go Rams!

Please add more options, e.g.

Superbowl ? what's that ?

"Football" is just rugby with airbags, commercials and shiny tights.

I figure a pretty close first half. In the late third quarter/start of fourth quarter, the New England defense will get tired and run out of steam. And they're gonna have their hands full with Marshall Faulk running nonstop at them all evening. And if Warner gets hot passing--he'll be hot!

New England's special teams will be needed SuperBowl Sunday, but I don't see it happening against the Rams defense. Quarterback controversy in New England isn't helping things for the Pats either.

I want the Pats to win, but I can't see them doing it. If I were to bet the game (which I may), I'll take the Rams to cover the spread, but barely beating the spread.

My prediction: Rams 35; Pats 19:rolleyes:

The Pats will start with Brady at QB (as announced today). In the 3rd quarter the Pats will be down and Brady will be limping, unable to scramble. Drew will be put back in.

Poll

Drew will:

A) throw 5 consecutive interceptions

B) be effective but will make mistakes, turn the ball over and get sacked losing the game

C) explode with a seasons worth of pent up fury, catch up but blow it in the end.

D) command a perfect offense coming back from 17 behind to win in the last 10 minutes with 2 onside kick recoveries by the Pats.

Any one remember the Vikings game in Foxborough a few years ago? That was the day I became a football fan.

In truth, I doubt Drew will touch the ball on game day. I hope Brady, Brown and Bruschi continue with their recent stuff.

If you haven't guessed already, I'm a Pats fan.

I think the Yankees are gonna win again.

Oh, wait...football? Sorry, I'm completely distracted because pitchers and catchers report for camp in 2 weeks :D

that's some fine underdog football.

the pats are exploiting the rams' security holes. they snuck some packets thru.

i hope their backup is reliable.

I agree, this is the best Superbowl I have seen in the past three or four years, at least.

Also, go Tom Brady and Ty Law!
(Bonus points to whoever knows why:))
