I hope someone can help!
Ive had an ipod shuffle for a few months and used itunes with it. It worked great.
At the weekend I bought a new ipod 60gig and was delighted with it. I installed the new cd software (im using Windows xp) but it said my current version was fine. Anyway, i soon had my old library on my new ipod. :)
But now when I try to rip a cd using itunes it doesnt work correctly. It rips a track or two then announces that it has stopped working due to an error and closes down. So far Ive tried:
Installing the latest quicktime (I read elsewhere this helped)
Trying to rip from each of my optical drives
reinstalling
None of these have worked.
It's odd because it doesnt always happen at the same time; it might crash at the first track or the last, or anywhere in between. But it invariably crashes during any cd I try.
Ive also tried ripping with aznother software program (Creative Labs) and it worked 100%. What has happened to my itunes?
The program in all other ways seems fine, only ripping is causing a difficulty.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
