Is there any way that Mpeg 2 files can be converted to Mpeg 4Files??
I am trying to convert my video's made using authoring software Pinnacle Studio to my Ipod. I have saved my movie as an MPEG2 file (HD not an option on Pinnacle 9). I have downloaded and paid for the latest version of Quicktime pro 7 (£19.99). I have followed the instructions BUT Quicktime does not recognise an MPEG2 file as a movie file. Does anyone know if an MPEG 2 file can be converted into a MPEG-4 file/HD file?
Alternatively what format constitutes a 'movie' file as recognised by Quicktime. My authoring system allows for AVI, Mpeg, Realvideo, windows media - would any of these work?
(Studio 10 gives option of saving film to HD format but I'm loathe to pay another £40 for the privilege unless I absolutely have to!)
