Can't download purchase songs to Nano

I cannot transfer my songs purchased and stored on my computer to my nano. They will transfer to my regular Ipod. But when I hook my Nano up, they will not transfer.

I can transfer a playlist to the nano, but it omits the purchased songs. Help!
