OK, I've been looking for an answer to this problem for a WHILE now.
Hopefully you guys (and girls) will be able to help me out. I recently got a bunch of songs manually put onto my iPod (20 GB iPod Photo) by a friend. So I had his music AND mine.
All was well until I plugged it into my computer. iTunes was set to manual, so nothting was erased, but when I tried to play the songs off my iPod through iTunes, I was told they were unauthorized. He already has 5 computers authorized, so I can't authorize them. I don't mind this, but when I unplugged my iPod, the songs were still there, but they would be skipped over if I tried to play them.
I just need to find a way to play the songs on my iPod. I don't care if they don't play on iTunes. Thanks in advance. I appreciate any help you can give me.
