I recently bought and ipod mini on ebay and when i got it, i realized it was windows formatted. I know this can easily be changed, but when i try to run the ipod updater, it says it needs an admin password in order to be installed.
My sister is the admin, so i got her to type in her password numerous times, but every time it says her password is incorrect. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Usually you need to supply the username of an admin as well as the password. Are you supplying your sister's username?

Can she log in using that password ? E.g. with Fast User Switching?
