long login time in jaguar

I just installed the jaguar update. My system flies through the first part of the setup, but after I enter my password for my user account, it takes about a minute for the login progress bar to stop and for my desktop to appear.

Anyone else experience this?

I had the same problem on my brand new iMac G4. I installed 10.2 over the existing OS. After this problem (and a few others) I re-installed using the Archive and Install option (I think that is what it is called.) I chose to archive my prefs and such.
After this, the experience has been much much faster. I also noticed some speed increase after I trashed all the Asian fonts (HD/Library/Fonts) and I also trashed my Previous System Folder after I realized that I wouldn't need anything in it.

The same thing happened to me. I had a mess of fonts and removing them from /Library/Fonts sped up the login time.
